Manager Of Business Human Resources (BHR)

This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days / week onsite from our North Chicago headquarters.

Purpose

We have an excellent opportunity for a Manager of Business Human Resources (BHR) to support the AbbVie Patient Services (APS) business. This role reports to the Director of BHR, Commercial.

The journey to achieving better health can be complex. Patients are often overwhelmed by a new diagnosis, sometimes unsure where to begin, and filled with questions about how their condition will impact their life, how to take their medication, and whether their health insurance will cover the costs. They are hopeful about the potential of their new treatment plan but are looking for support to startand stayon the right track with their prescribed treatment.

That's where AbbVie Patient Services comes in. We bring clarity to healthcare's complexity through assistance, education, and support, empowering patients with the right information so they understand their condition, follow their treatment plan, and feel prepared to manage a routine with their prescribed therapy.

Overview

• Business Human Resources (BHR) serves as a trusted partner to the business, helping to shape our culture, supporting our business strategies, and delivering the talent and capabilities necessary to make a remarkable impact on AbbVie and patients around the world.
• The role leverages best-in-class HR practices to continuously create, deliver and support programs that establish AbbVie as an employer of choice while empowering all employees at all levels of the organization.
• The role partners with business leaders in an assigned function to develop and implement people strategies and tactics that support the business plans and the achievement of both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
