Administrative Specialist 2 - Immediate Interviews!

Location : Portland, Oregon Local Candidates Only

We are looking to hire 2 individuals for this position!

Positions Details :

• Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, 1 hour lunch
• Duration : 6 months, subject to change, may extend
• Wage : $20.45 / HR
• On Site for the first 1-2 months, possibility of Hybrid afterwards (3 days in office, 2 days working from home)

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Looking for candidates with strong background supporting fiscal, finance and budgets.
• Creating and maintaining staff schedules, rosters, mailing lists, and email groups for multiple groups.
• Designing, creating, and maintaining databases and reports to organize data from meetings for easy access and distribution.
• Assist with equipment and resource requests.
• Serve as backup to answer phones and receive customers.
• Provide technical assistance, set-up, and support on remote meeting technologies
• Analyze issues and select and apply accepted analytical techniques to solve conventional problems.
• Findings and recommendations based upon analysis of easily obtainable information, existing guidelines and accepted analytical techniques to conventional problems.
• Prepare reports that summarize analysis and conclusions.
• Identify Potential operational problems and recommend solutions.
• Work jointly with agency program staff to help them access needed data, or plan business reporting needs.
• Translate business processing concepts into documents usable by information system staff.
• Qualified candidates will have two or more years’ experience, excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills.
• Provides record keeping, database management and other administrative duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and experience in the principles and practices of executive administrative support is required for this position.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated ability to develop organizational systems and tools and the ability to manage time and multiple competing assignments is required.

Proficient at an expert level in all Microsoft Office products, and adept at learning and using new software is required.

Excellent attendance and punctuality Be 18 or older.
