Job Description
- Design and execute quality assurance procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations - ISO9001 / IATF16949
- Perform routine quality audits and inspections to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to develop and implement effective quality control systems.
- Evaluate data from inspections and testing to guide process and product improvements.
- Compile comprehensive reports on quality performance metrics for management review.
- Oversee initiatives focused on improving product quality and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor and stay informed of evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors or associates degree in a technical field
- 3-5+ years of quality engineering experience in an automotive related field
- Strong understanding of an ISO9001 environment
- Exposure to IATF16949
- Quality core tool experience - PPAP / APQP, FMEA, Control Plans
- Background in metal fabrication preferred
- Knowledge fo SPC, capability studies, and Gage R&R a plus
- Experience and willingness to grow a quality team and department
