The Board of Osteopathic Examiners in Medicine and Surgery is charged with protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the enforcement of the laws that govern the practice of Osteopathic Medicine in the State of Arizona. Critical functions of meeting that mission included
1. Reviewing and verifying the education and qualification of individuals apply
for a license or permit to practice,
2. Issuing initial licenses and Post-Graduate Training Certificates,
3. Providing public information regarding licensure upon request.
The functions listed required key staff to ensure that the process are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Licensing Administrator
will be responsible for processing and reviewing applications. The Licensing Administrator serves as the main point
of contact for all inquiries regarding licensure and the process to obtain a license or permit
