Western Regional Sales Manager - Electrical Products

We’re looking for a Western Regional Sales Manager for an aggressively growing company in the reconditioned / remanufactured transformer industry.
The Territory can be tailor-made based on your residency. It can cover all or some of the following states : CA, OR, WA, AZ and ID.
Must be near a major airport.

You will be entering a territory that is ripe for growth. This is a business development role to go along with existing accounts.
Your role will involve identifying growth opportunities and implementing strategies to maintain and increase sales within the region.
Duties :
- Grow the customer base to meet and exceed sales goals
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, end users, municipalities, industrials, utilities, etc.
- Utilize your industry knowledge to provide technical consultation and practical solutions to customers.
- Work closely with management and your inside support team to offer outstanding service.
- Support coordination of services for any field service team activities.
- Travel throughout the region to conduct site visits and job walk-throughs.
Required Skills :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical distribution sales, working for a distributor, rep, manufacturer or reseller.
- Strong product knowledge of electrical switchgear products.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software preferred.
