Genesis Technical is seeking an Instrument Engineer for a 14 month construction project in Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the EPCM team to develop and refine instrumentation design, ensuring alignment with project specifications, client best practices, and industry standards.
- Review and approve instrumentation and control specifications, ensuring they meet project requirements and safety standards.
- Assist in the development and review of engineering construction packages related to instrumentation and controls.
- Evaluate and provide input on construction estimates, specifically concerning instrumentation and controls, to ensure budget alignment.
- Oversee the installation of instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Support the execution of the capital project by working together with the construction manager regarding instrumentation-related construction activities and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Manage interfaces at the greenfield site to ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems with other project components.
- Review and approve the selection of instrumentation suitable for different area classifications, such as Class 1 - Div1, Class 1 - Div2, and General Purpose.
- Ensure that Client's best practices and standards for instrumentation and controls are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation of instrumentation activities, including design changes, testing results, and project progress reports.
