Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specialized in Telemetry.

The unit consists of 54 beds primarily focused on cardiac care.

Patients are closely monitored, often requiring cardiac drips.

The patient population typically includes those with heart failure, heart attacks, and strokes.

Overflow medical patients may also be accommodated as needed.

The nurse will work 3x12 hour shifts from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30.

There are no call requirements, but weekend shifts are required every other week.

Holiday work is mandatory, with a requirement to work 2 out of 3 holidays.

While block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, efforts will be made to accommodate requests.

Nurses will be supported by Patient Care Assistants on the unit.

The certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Nurses must have experience managing dysrhythmias and administering cardiac drips.

Additional skills required include central line care, oxygen administration, and phlebotomy.

Travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.

This position requires completing modules prior to the start of the assignment.

All hires must abide by professional conduct standards throughout the assignment.
