Responsibilities :

As a Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring they comply with legal regulations and company policies.

2. Conducting account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies that could impact financial statements.

3. Maintaining and updating the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

4. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights that will guide strategic decision-making.

5. Working closely with auditors during financial and operational audits.

6. Collaborating with the consulting team to identify opportunities for financial improvement and efficiency.

7. Staying current with industry trends and legal regulations to ensure the company's financial practices remain compliant and competitive.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be considered an advantage.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on account reconciliation and ledger management.

3. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.

4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.

6. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely.
