JobDescription
- Manage and / or supportenvironmental engineering projects from conception to completionthat are focused on decarbonization and energyefficiency.
- Conduct energy assessments siteinvestigations and impact studies to identify energy and / or CO2reduction opportunities.
- Conduct environmentalengineering studies and preparing environmental impact reports fornew construction projects plant processes andpermits.
- Provide technical expertise andcalculate energy and CO2 reductions for technicalprojects.
- Work closely with crossfunctionalteams at our manufacturing plant(s) to design and implementsustainable solutions that mitigate environmental impact andpromote sustainability.
- Work independently withgeneral supervision.
- May influence otherswithin the job area through explanation of facts policies andpractices.
Qualifications
- BachelorsDegree in Environmental Engineering Industrial Engineering or arelated field.
- 35 years of energy experiencedesired experience in automotive and / or heavyduty industrialmanufacturing
- Strong knowledge of energymanagement energy efficiency anddecarbonization
- Data analytics experience isrequired.
- Experience working with EnergyPrograms
- Experience investigating differenttypes of renewable energyimplementations.
- Experience calculating energyand CO2 reduction within engineeringprojects.
- Strong analytical and problemsolvingabilities with a keen attention todetail.
- Holistic open mindset and a positiveattitude towards people and problems.
- Goodunderstanding of the automotive and / or heavyduty truckbusiness.
