About The Position

Certifications : BCLS preferred

Must-Have : Must be flexible with weekend requirements

Must be willing to take on charge nurse responsibilities or be open to training for the charge role

Must agree to the possibility of precepting and / or being assigned students to shadow while on assignment

Must be willing to float to different levels of care as needed

Description :

We are looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical to join our team.

The successful candidate will work 3x12-hour night shifts.

The role involves caring for medical-surgical and neuro / stroke patients.

Nurses will have the opportunity to take charge and lead the team, with training provided as needed.

Travelers must be willing to work 50% of weekends during their contract, based on unit needs.

Refusal to float may lead to termination of the contract.

The nursing team will be expected to manage patient ratios of 5-6 per nurse.

Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is preferred.

Applicants should have experience in Med / Surg, MS / Tele, and IV start skills.

Any nurse who calls in for a shift will be required to make up the missed shift within the pay period.

Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is mandatory for all travelers.

Additional support and resources will be provided if needed for floating.
