Job Summary
Operations Assistants provide sophisticated administrative support to the Deputy Director and Medical Director of the department. These positions serve as a central point of coordination for scheduling, communications, travel, meetings and organizational record keeping to support effective operations.

These positions may need to occasionally work from alternate locations or work early morning, evening or weekend hours, outside the typical work schedule.
The Operations Assistant that supports the Medical Director will typically work Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM and will be based in Sterling, Virginia. Previous experience working in a hospital or other healthcare setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.
The Operations Assistant that supports the Deputy Director will typically work Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM will be based in Leesburg, Virginia. Previous experience in public sector health and human services is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; four (4) years of related clerical / administrative work experience with computer automated systems and office applications experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Contingencies and Special Requirements
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment background check to include fingerprinting, credit, NCIC, DMV and TB test. Must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
