Engineering Technician Level 1

Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Development Lab Technician to join their team. As a Development Lab Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting local and overseas teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range : $18.00

Shift : 1st

What's the Job?

Assemble and modify low voltage motor control centers per engineer specifications for testing.

Maintain test documentation and prepare comprehensive test reports.

Initiate and manage work orders, aiding in tracking and close-out of work orders.

Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and testing.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

Technical school education or equivalent experience (up to 1 year).

Familiarity with power distribution equipment.

Physical ability to use tools and devices requiring dexterous work with hands.

Mental and visual ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

A proactive approach to adapting and embracing change within the workplace.
