Java Kotlin Engineer / Fountain Valley, CA

A leading enterprise-level telematics and GPS tracking company is looking to hire a Java / Kotlin Developer to support the design and development of scalable software solutions used across the transportation, construction, and agricultural industries. This role focuses on building reliable, high-performance systems that process and manage real-time location and vehicle data at scale.

You will work on core backend services that power telematics and GPS platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based, production-ready applications. The ideal candidate has strong Java and Kotlin experience, enjoys working in data-intensive environments, and is comfortable within modern CI / CD and cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin.

Build and enhance software supporting telematics and GPS tracking systems for enterprise customers.

Develop and optimize data access layers using MySQL.

Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and deployments.

Collaborate with team members using Git-based version control and modern development workflows.

Develop and deploy cloud-based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality code.

Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
