The Position :
With a highly- competitive starting pay , a PASS worker at Ocean State Behavioral will use their skills to work as a directed service provider for family and child in need.
You will work in a home and community setting to implement a service plan alongside the efforts of a client's family and / or guardian(s) while assisting and supporting children with activities of daily living, decision making and participating in social situations.
Your work will help to support a child with activities of daily living, making self-preserving decisions, and participating in social situations.
This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and demonstrating sound judgement while providing at least the minimum standard of care according to program standards and principles of "good practice."

Requirements :
- At least 19 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have Vehicle, no history of DUI, a year free of vehicle accidents, valid vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration, and valid state inspection sticker.
- Has no legal obligation to client and does not live in the same household as the child being supported.
Job Duties :
- Implementing a service plan that is developed by the child's family together with the agency.
- Providing guidance and redirection for a child with special needs.
- Presenting opportunities for rewarding social interactions.
- Writing organized and highly detailed daily contact notes and keeping data collection relevant to the goals with the clients service plan.
- Providing information to the family on service plan goals. The Case :

- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This position is part-time and looking 12 hours a week .
