CNC Machinist -Day

Job Summary : Performs a wide variety of tasks to program, set up and operate a CNC Lathe, Mill or Multi Axis Machine. Measure and inspect all parts produced.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities : Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Set up machinery for production runs
• Identify and select proper machine tooling
• Ensure that the production parts meet specifications and verify their quality.
• Measure and inspect production parts.
• Follows lockout tag out procedures.
• Proceeds with minimal supervision.
• Work Overtime and or weekends as necessary to meet customer demand.
• Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements :

Education, Training, Experience :

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

• Ability to read and understand detailed instruction drawings and specifications on wellhead equipment and valves.
• Familiar with Mazak machines and Mazatrol CNC controls
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Knowledge of good document control and process flow.
• Intermediate computer, language, and mathematical skills and advanced reasoning ability.
• Knowledge of Quality System
