This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Public Trust) in the United States .
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis to deliver actionable insights that drive organizational success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists, to analyze complex datasets, design dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making. Your work will contribute to shaping strategic initiatives, solving operational challenges, and improving client outcomes. This role emphasizes both technical proficiency and strong communication skills, as you will interpret and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences. The position requires agility, creativity, and a focus on delivering measurable value in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. You will also maintain a Public Trust clearance and apply best practices in data governance and analysis to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance.
Accountabilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders to understand organizational objectives.
- Operationalize business questions using data, applying statistical and analytical methods to provide actionable insights.
- Build complex SQL queries, transform and cleanse data using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Design conceptual data models, entity relationship diagrams, and business process models.
- Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to communicate insights effectively.
- Interpret data findings and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Document analysis processes and outcomes, maintaining data integrity and adherence to security standards.
- Apply subject matter expertise to support decision-making across finance, employment, web analytics, or other domains.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in IT, data analysis, or related industry.Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance .Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL and data manipulation.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure) preferred.Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages to analyze datasets is a plus.Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to structure complex or ambiguous business problems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings to diverse stakeholders.Hands-on experience applying data-driven solutions to real-world business problems.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices is desirable.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation purposes.Benefits
