Delaware Camera Systems is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Office Assistant. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we require a dedicated individual to support our dynamic team. Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls to relevant staff.
- Schedule meetings and appointments; maintain calendar events for management.
- Create quotes and invoices for client transactions and ensure they are sent timely.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of documentation and reports.
- Work on assigned projects aimed at business growth and expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate logistics for internal events and presentations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondences and ensure items are distributed and stored appropriately.
- Provide clerical support to management and other staff.
- Maintain and ensure a clean and organize office environment daily.
- Manage supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.
- Assist in the follow-up with clients when necessary.
- Support bookkeeping and budgeting procedures for the office.
Requirements
Proven experience as an office assistant or in another relevant administrative role.Strong organizational and planning skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Pleasant and professional demeanor.Punctual, with a strong sense of time management.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.Capability to work both in a team and independently when needed.Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.Excellent documentation skills.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a relevant field preferred.
