What You'll Do
- Lead the development of automation solutions using sound engineering principles.
- Establish and apply engineering design standards across automation projects.
- Conduct technical design reviews, customer buy-offs, and root-cause analysis in the field.
- Drive projects to successful completion with a focus on accuracy, quality, and milestone achievement.
- Interpret and execute on customer requirements, ensuring technical and contractual alignment.
- Create and review designs for complex automated systems and tooling.
- Analyze as-built designs and develop plans for updates or improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure engineering integrity.
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and customers.
- Support problem-solving, change management, and technical documentation.
What You Bring
Ability to analyze and interpret engineering documentation, models, and technical procedures.Strong problem-solving skills across diverse engineering challenges.Experience improving existing designs, processes, and tooling.Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical control drawings.Proficiency in SolidWorks (required); familiarity with additional 3D platforms is a plus.Knowledge of machining tools, manufacturing processes, and assembly methods.Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Professional presence, confidentiality, and adaptability under pressure.Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, design, or related field.15+ years of engineering experience in industrial automation or machine design.Minimum 5 years of hands-on 3D solid modeling experience in SolidWorks.Seniority level
