Role Summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Contracts Manager (Compliance) to join our Legal Department. The position requires experience developing and implementing company-wide compliance programs across a broad range of contracts, including finance, energy, real estate and construction.

In this role, you will track compliance with contract terms, ensure contracts comply with internal policies and other standards, and develop and implement compliance and reporting processes. You will also advise stakeholders on risk avoidance strategies and work closely with legal, procurement, finance and business teams to monitor and report on compliance matters throughout contract lifecycles. A successful candidate will help create a company culture of risk awareness by training internal teams on company risk management and compliance practices. This Contracts Manager will review contracts to ensure compliance with company standards and draft and negotiate compliance-related terms. The role will also support financial due diligence relating to corporate, insurance and other issues. This is not a back-office role; to succeed, a candidate will need to exemplify ownership and be a trusted and valued partner to the business.

Travel : Ability to travel up to 10% for company gatherings.

Location : Denver, CO (hybrid in-office role)

Compensation : $130-$165K (Offers Bonus)

Essential Responsibilities

Develop and implement systems to track compliance with contractual obligations, including relating to leases, construction contracts, utility contracts, project financing documents, and other project delivery agreements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adherence to all contractual requirements

Identify and mitigate compliance risks through proactive monitoring and reporting

Collect and analyze data to anticipate risks and improve compliance programs

Education, Skills, and Experience

BA degree or equivalent

3+ years of contract compliance or comparable experience, preferably within an in-house legal department

Proven experience in contract compliance management, including implementing or managing contract compliance programs, preferably in the data center, energy, real estate or finance industries

Familiarity with project-based environments and legal documentation

Familiarity with lender Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and documentation

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively across departments

Technologically savvy, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Airtable, and contract lifecycle management platforms

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
