Customer Service Representative

Are you a detail-driven communicator who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment?

We're looking for a proactive and organized Customer Service Representative to join a high-performing team that keeps freight moving and customers informed. This is more than just a support role-it's a chance to be the heartbeat of daily operations, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and exceptional service.

Location : Reno, NV (On-site)

Type : Contract-to-Hire

Schedule : Full-time, shifts between 7 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (to be discussed during interview)

Pay : Based on experience and communication skills

What You'll Do

  • Create and issue invoices and initiate billing cycles
  • Verify charges and ensure billing accuracy
  • Generate freight quotes using internal systems and procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email (90% email-based)
  • Manage 100-200 customer updates daily, including status checks and proof of delivery
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage internal orders
  • Maintain detailed records and follow up on outstanding issues

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, billing, or logistics
  • Strong written communication skills (email is your primary tool)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook
  • Familiarity with transportation, freight, or logistics is a plus
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to doing the right thing

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr.
