Role Overview
As a Retail / Event Sales Representative, you will be on the front lines of our operations. You’ll engage customers in retail environments or at events, represent our client’s brand with integrity, educate prospects about products and services, and convert leads into sales. Your performance will directly impact campaign outcomes and client satisfaction.
You will :
Drive customer acquisition and sales goals through direct interaction
Maintain professionalism, product knowledge, and brand representation
Gather customer feedback and report insights to your manager
Work in diverse retail and event settings (shopping centers, pop-ups, trade shows, etc.)
Collaborate with other sales reps and the management team to optimize campaign performance
Key Responsibilities
Greet, engage, and educate customers in retail stores or event environments
Present product features, benefits, and pricing in an articulate and persuasive manner
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales or conversion targets
Build rapport and trust with customers; handle questions and objections
Capture customer data (leads) per campaign protocols
Assist with setting up, tearing down, and maintaining event or retail displays
Report performance metrics and observations to supervisors
Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and competitor activity
Uphold brand standards, dress code, and professionalism
Qualifications
Required :
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong motivation to sell and meet targets
Ability to work in dynamic, in‐person environments (retail floor, events, etc.)
Flexibility in work schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Reliable transportation
Preferred :
Prior experience in retail sales, direct sales, or event marketing
Experience working for a brand ambassador, experiential marketing, or promotional company
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Basic comfort with using mobile devices or tablet apps for lead capture
