Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support for staff (hardware, software, and network troubleshooting).
- Set up and maintain computers, printers, and secure Wi-Fi networks across multiple offices.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and software installations.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain data security protocols.
- Perform regular system updates, data backups, and cybersecurity checks.
- Support electronic health record (EHR / EMR) systems and assist with integrations.
- Document IT processes and provide staff training on basic IT practices.
- Liaise with vendors for software, internet, and security systems.
Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).1 year of IT support experience (preferably in a healthcare environment).Working knowledge of Windows and / or macOS.Experience with EHR / EMR systems, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based tools.Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data security requirements.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Preferred :
Experience supporting small or multi-site healthcare practices.Familiarity with remote access, VPN setup, and network security tools.
