Security Specialist

Key Role :

Perform a wide range of day-to-day security functions to ensure the protection of company and government sensitive and classified information in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility ( SCIF ) . Work without considerable direction, with some guidance from the Spe cia l Security Office ( SSO ) , Facility Security Officer ( FSO ) , and Contractor Spe cia l Security Officer ( CSSO ) in implementing security procedures to enable military, contractors, government civilians, and other tenants to operate in nontraditional environments to support critical missions. Apply specific functional, working, and general expertise in multiple security fields, including personnel security, document control, visitor control, physical security, classification management, and prime and subcontract DD Form 254 administration. Interact with government security offi cia ls, clients, and employees to perform security duties, including clearance processing, personnel security record management, adverse reports, administrative inquiries, suspicious contact reports, visit certifications, and document control, and support industrial security efforts as needed. Provide security advice, guidance, and recommendations to all levels of staff, and coordinate and c ond uct security briefings, debriefings, and Security Awareness Training and Education ( SATE ) sessions. Ensure the security program is compliant with DoD security requirements and prepare for and participate in security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments.

Basic Qualifications :

• 3+ years of experience managing personnel and programs in dynamic collateral, SCI, or SAP security environments

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS / SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
