Job description

Job Summary

The Scale House / Office Coordinator is responsible for managing daily truck dispatching, scale operations, and office documentation. This position ensures accurate tickets and records, organizes work orders in SAP, and maintains strong communication with drivers and the quarry team to support safe and efficient material loading.  This postion is located approximately 20 miles north of Henderson, NV.

  • Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and coordinate semi-trucks for material deliveries
  • Operate the scale house, ensuring accurate load tickets and data entry
  • Enter and maintain SAP work orders, tickets, and departmental data and reports
  • Organize and manage office records and daily documentation
  • Communicate with drivers, sales, and the quarry team to ensure safe, timely loading and deliveries
  • Assist with departmental clerical tasks and reporting as needed
  • Education

    High school diploma or GED required

    Requirements / Qualifications

  • 2+ years of dispatch, scale house, or office coordination experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, manage time, and work effectively with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Able to interact professionally with drivers, mine team, and outside vendors
  • Knowledge of MSHA Part 48 safety requirements preferred
  • Conditions of Employment

    Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug / alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration / clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
