Description

Valley Pacific Petroleum Services is looking for a Fuel Transload Equipment Operator, for our Visalia facility working Saturday through Wednesday, from 9 : 00 pm to 5 : 30 am .

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, with an emphasis on attention to detail. A self-starter who operates effectively with little supervision, will find tremendous success in this position. Job duties also include working hands on with petroleum equipment; including but not limited to tanks, hoses, meters, drums and pails.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates basic math and counting comprehension.
• Possesses basic to intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with email.
• Knowledge of the petroleum industry is a plus.
• Acts in alignment with the company's Code of Ethics and Mission Statement.
• Able and willing to respond to emergencies, urgent, or unusual situations (e.g., spill / mix cleanups, fires, accidents, urgent customer demands, weekend, holiday, and overnight assignments).
• Remains calm and composed in demanding situations.

• Knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous when interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Maintains positive working relationships with drivers, dispatchers, and management.
• Receives instructions and orders courteously and efficiently.

• Handles company equipment with care, keeping it in good working condition and free from misuse, abuse, or rough treatment.
• Understands and follows all loading and unloading procedures, processes, and policies.
• Submits all required paperwork and documentation accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
• Performs all assignments safely and efficiently, avoiding waste of time or company resources.
• Receptive and adaptable to changes in work dynamics.
