Our firm provides design build, value engineering services, general construction, construction management and pre-construction consulting throughout South Florida.

DC Construction Associates, Inc. is looking for experienced full-time Superintendent . Project locations vary. We service the tri-county area : Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Job description

The ideal candidate will confidently manage all aspects of construction site operations. We’re looking for a Commercial Superintendent with a strong track record in interior renovations and ground up projects. They must demonstrate strong abilities in identifying and proactively addressing potential risks to ensure the ongoing safety and efficiency of the project site. Responsible for multiple projects being completed on time, within budget and to contract. Monitor field supervision by directives, inspections, meetings and reviews. Scheduling and coordinating with all trades to run projects smoothly, efficiently and on budget per the plans and specifications. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Make recommendations to management regarding proposed and existing projects. Great communication with Project Manager is a must.

• Oversee daily operation of construction project
• Supervision of all Trades
• Shop drawing review
• Design deficiencies
• Produce and update project schedule to Project Manager
• Quality control
• Project closeout
• Safety and loss prevention
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Inspections
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Additional Duties
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project. Salary to commensurate with experience. Benefits.
