REMOTE Sr./Lead Data Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an adept and forward-thinking Senior Data Engineering Lead to become an integral part of our dynamic team.

In this leadership role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing scalable, effective data solutions.

Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with divisional teams, comprehending business needs, and spearheading the migration of data and ETL processes.

Responsibilities :

1.Data Engineering : Develop & Lead the development Efforts in building data pipelines using PySpark, Databricks, and Snowflake. Strong in SQL

2.Architecture : Understand Modern Data Architecture components and implementation methods

3.Data Modeling : Understand Data model techniques and develop and implement scalable and efficient data models, encompassing both relational and non-relational databases, to meet business requirements.

4.Database Management : Supervise database management systems, ensuring optimum performance, security, and adherence to best practices.

5.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional domain teams, and developers(both onsite and offshore)

6.Management : Able to manage / co-ordinate onsite-offshore model deliveries

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven 10 years of experience in a Lead Data role or a similar capacity. (Good to Have; ok with fewer years as a Lead)
• Significant experience in implementing PySpark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Preferred experience in DBT
• Preferred experience in Migration projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (mandatory).
• Leadership experience in guiding data teams.
• Relevant certifications (, Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT) are advantageous
