Job Title : Mold Technician

Job Description

This hands-on technical role is responsible for molding machine setups, start-ups, operations, and shut-downs. Key duties include performing mold changes, lockout / tagout procedures, machine start-ups, mold setting, and material handling. The technician ensures that machines, molds, and equipment are properly functioning and maintained.

Responsibilities

Complete Mold Tech Level 1 training within 7 days of starting the job.

Work Environment

Work in a typical injection molding and automotive manufacturing environment, which can get warm in the summer. The plant is one of the largest in the region and is currently undergoing continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives, making it a very organized workplace. Expect to work in a dirtier plant due to the high usage of the injection mold area. The shift includes 5-10+ hours of overtime, typical for the automotive industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.81 / hr.
