PRN Nurse (Flagstaff)

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) , you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures. You will ensure the highest level of quality care for residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments, care plans, and MDS documentation.
• Monitor residents medical, social, and psychological needs.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and assist subordinate staff with ADLs (bathing, dressing, mobility, hygiene, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
• Participate in shift handovers, training sessions, and staff meetings.
• Ensure compliance with state / federal regulations and AZDVS nursing standards.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives (AMS methods).
