Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process for the location, as well as acting as general administrative assistant to the Accounting department. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

COMPENSATION : The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 to $28.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramarks good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitates payment of vendors via AP invoice entry, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
• Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts management team of any discrepancies.
• Performs data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files.
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Assists in the review and completion of catering service orders.
