Shearer Supply is actively seeking a skilled Senior IT Help Desk Specialist to join our IT team at our Farmers Branch, TX headquarters. This role will support and provide assistance through problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Senior Help Desk Specialist will support and provide problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- As a Senior Help Desk Specialist, you will observe, analyze, and report data; And when appropriate makes necessary repairs to equipment.
Qualifications :
2-3 years of help desk / call center experience2-3 years of experience working with "help desk ticketing tools"Experience working remotely yet as a team memberAbility to troubleshoot common Windows related issuesWorking knowledge of Active DirectoryWorking knowledge of Domain hierarchyWorking knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and related applicationsWord, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointTroubleshooting VPN Clients - Citrix NetScaler, Cisco VPNStrong written and oral communicationAbility to learn and troubleshoot custom applicationsPhysical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while performing desk-related tasks.Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phonesAbility to see and read computer screens and printed documents clearlyAbility to communicate effectively in person and via phoneAbility to lift and carry items up to 20 lbsAbility to maintain focus and productivity during long periods of work.Ability to work in a standard office environment#LI-BW1
