SCI is currently looking to add an NDT Level II to our team. As an NDT Level II, you will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including ultrasound, magnetic particle, and visual. Requires certifications in non-destructive testing in accordance with regulations at our facility in Gulfport, MS.

Job Title : NDT Level II

NDT Level II reports to the Quality Department

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• Knowledgeable of set up and standardize equipment, conduct tests, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and documentation.
• Experienced with the scope and limitations of the technique / methods in which they are certified.
• Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
• Experienced in providing the necessary guidance and / or supervision to trainees and Level I personnel in the technique / methods in which they are certified.
• Experienced with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method.
• Perform product evaluations using established nondestructive testing procedures and processes.
• Process documentation as objective quality evidence.
• Prior experience as NDT, preferred.
• Ability to accomplish inspection and testing activities across multiple projects.
• Ability to maintain test equipment and provide advance notification of equipment deficiencies.
• Proficient in performing dimensional inspection of products as assigned.
• Demonstrated capability to provide feedback during development of inspection procedures.
• Monitor nondestructive processes as part of continuous improvement efforts.
