Continuous Improvement Project Manager

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Project Manager to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Team in Concord, NC. This position reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager, implement / utilize / manage "Lean" and Continuous Improvement principles / projects in manufacturing and administrative environments to improve productivity, quality and to meet or exceed cost objectives.

What Will You Do?

• Analyze data, identify areas of opportunity, and target "Lean" events to support department / plant goals.
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events.
• Work with manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity and flexibility across all departments.
• Support / Improve the "Visual Factory" in departments by incorporating management dashboards and visual indicators for "Standard Work".
• Develop detailed cost estimates for new and modified products.
• Establish & maintain manufacturing information including labor standards, routings, SWIs (as needed) and BOM corrections.
• Manage new product launches at Concord including schedules, expenditures, and reporting.
• Train various Legrand personnel on various lean tools and processes.
• Manage and mentor in Concord's "Supervisor-in-training" program.
• Assist in developing work content for and mentoring our OLDPs.
• Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement.
• Performs other similar and related duties as required.
