The Payroll Manager ensures accurate and timely payroll for employees across the UA system. This position will supervise Payroll Technicians and will be the subject matter expert (SME) for the UA payroll process.
To thrive in this role, applicants should have a good foundation in payroll and a firm understanding of payroll taxes and regulations. Additionally, strong team management and development skills will be key.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field and three years progressively responsible professional human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
Position Details :
This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 80, based on education and experience.
