Job description
A company is looking for a Coding Education Specialist who will research coding issues, develop training processes, and deliver educational curricula.
Key Responsibilities
Design and update coding lessons and assessments for various audiences
Deliver engaging instruction in both virtual and in-person settings
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to ensure learner success
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalent
RHIT, RN, CPC, or CCS-P accreditation
Experience in Emergency Department pro-fee coding
Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
Familiarity with payor and coding guidelines
