Field Service Technician, QPS Security Scanners - Kansas City

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site or in-house installation and repair of equipment / systems to ensure it meets Rohde & Schwarz's high standards of performance
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, perform repairs and complete preventative maintenance
• Provide remote support to customers and complete service tickets in the ticketing system
• Understand complex RF system architecture and apply that to diagnostic process
• Represent the company in a customer support role and be responsible for customer satisfaction with equipment and servicing
• Accurately prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used for each assignment
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects
• Effectively communicate with customers in a professional business environment
