The Town of Marana is seeking a Maintenance Associate III to work in the Public Works Department, Street Maintenance Division. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced environment. The Public Works Department provides services vital to our community's health, safety and comfort.

Normal Business Hours : 6 : 00 – 4 : 30, 4 days a week with mandatory rotating on-call.

Compensation

Expected Hiring Range : $20.65 / hour - $25.30 / hour

Salary Range : $20.65 / hour - $29.94 / hour

Responsibilities

• Performs routine skilled maintenance and / or landscaping tasks; uses a variety of hand and power tools; inspects, cleans, and performs routine maintenance on trucks and equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems.
• Provides service to internal and external customers.
• Performs work duties and operates a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Utilizes asset management software to track and manage work orders. Call, clear, and document Blue Stake.
• Removes and replaces concrete by operating light equipment; cutting and breaking out damaged concrete, setting forms and preparing subgrade, pouring and finishing concrete.
• Removes and replaces asphalt; cuts asphalt, prepares subgrade, installs new asphalt, crack seals roads.
• Sets up traffic control devices.
