Field Administrative Assistant
1. PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Field Administrative Assistant role involves close collaboration with Disciple Markers for Life Ministries, providing crucial administrative support to the ministry's regional director.
This position within The Navigators is deeply rooted in our Calling, Values, and Purpose, which are centered on advancing the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
The essence of this role is to serve The Navigators by delivering essential administrative support. This support ensures that the mission of advancing the Gospel and the kingdom of Jesus is carried out effectively, enabling the ministry to achieve its goals and objectives.

3. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Administration % of time or hours per week-determined in consultation with Supervisor
- Maintain regular communication with your supervisor for responsibilities and workload management.
- Attend team meetings, field meetings, and events as appropriate, supporting by being a key listener, information gatherer, and note-taker.
- Complete Workday tasks as needed (approvals, expense reports, etc.)
- Building and maintaining databases
- Responsible for submitting hours worked due on a weekly basis.
- Submit and allocate ministry expenses to appropriate cost centers.
- Event planning support and management
- Calendar management, scheduling meetings
- Conduct research
- Create handouts and presentation slides
- Maintain digital and paper filing systems
- Maintain donor lists and prepare newsletters
- Make travel arrangements
- Monitor email and phone correspondence
- Monitor group / individual action items
- Provide article and book summaries
- Social media / website maintenance
4. OTHER APPROVED NAVIGATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional and National % of time or hours per week-determined in consultation with Supervisor
- Attend regional and national conferences.
- Complete additional job-related tasks as assigned.
- Annual review of job description and PPR (Plan and Progress Review).
Personal Development % of time or hours per week-determined in consultation with CD
- Read books to further development
- Pursue discipleship relationships
- Practice regular time alone with God

- Profess salvation in Christ and have assurance of salvation.
- Maintain a vital, personal relationship with God.
