Director of Cultivation

Description

As the Director of Cultivation, you'll oversee all aspects of our cultivation operation, leveraging your expertise in cannabis, strategic insight, and adept leadership skills.

This role demands someone who can oversee assistant managers, implement Lean Manufacturing strategies, and foster inter-departmental collaboration to boost productivity and uphold our standard of quality.

What does the day-to-day look like?

You will oversee the cultivation department, setting and monitoring clear objectives. This encompasses directing standard operating procedures, ensuring optimal crop growth by tracking vital environmental metrics, and guiding processes from clone-to-pre-harvest.

You'll employ key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and refine operations, collaborate closely with Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence, and lead in nurturing and developing your team, all while emphasizing the company's core mission, vision, and values.

So, who are we looking for?

You'd excel in this role if you :

• Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Boast at least five years in commercial cultivation, with three of those in a management capacity.
• Have an advanced understanding of cannabis cultivation techniques like organic living soil, coco coir substrates, hydroponics, and permaculture.
• Can bring a strategic vision, keen analytical skills, and an enthusiasm for innovative change.
• Are 21 years or older and registered with the state's cannabis commission.
• Consistently adhere to all cannabis industry regulations and policies.
