About the Role
A high-growth AI startup in the healthcare technology space is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as a technical advisor and strategic partner to customers and prospects. This role blends technical depth with strong communication skills, helping clients design and scale AI-driven healthcare solutions.
You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to demonstrate real-world value, optimize solution design, and ensure successful implementations.
What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects throughout the sales and implementation process.
- Lead complex product demonstrations that highlight real-world scalability and value.
- Partner with Sales to qualify prospects and support customers building AI-enabled healthcare workflows.
- Provide detailed feedback to Product, Engineering, and Research teams to guide product evolution.
- Develop and share educational materials, tools, and best practices for internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, including 2+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or a similar function.Experience working in a high-growth AI or healthcare technology startup.Familiarity with healthcare data formats (FHIR, HL7) or hospital operations.Exposure to Voice AI or VAPI technologies.Strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, or scaling production systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.Proven ability to map business needs to technical solutions and drive stakeholder consensus.Willingness to work on-site at the San Francisco headquarters.Tech Stack / Tools
