Administrative Assistant – Long Beach, CA

Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to provide direct support to the President for a Construction Management Company. This role requires someone who is structured, professional, and proactive in managing day-to-day administrative needs. The ideal candidate does not need extensive prior experience but must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities (both verbal and written), and a professional presence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and organize emails, ensuring timely responses and follow-up on important items.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems in an orderly manner.
- Schedule, coordinate, and confirm meetings and appointments.
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in planning and organizing daily schedules and priorities.
- Track down answers and information for periodic questions or tasks as needed.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Qualifications :
Strong organizational and time management skills.Professional verbal and written communication abilities.Detail-oriented with a structured approach to work.Ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust priorities as needed.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.Prior experience as an assistant or in an administrative role is a plus, but not required.Personal Attributes :
