Job description

Food & Beverage Manager

Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dining and event operations. This hands-on leader ensures exceptional service, teamwork, and efficiency across all outlets, including member dining, lounges, and banquet events.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations and ensure exceptional member and guest experiences.
  • Lead, train, and schedule service staff to maintain consistent, high-quality service.
  • Manage banquet and special event setup, service, and breakdown in coordination with culinary and catering teams.
  • Monitor labor, costs, and inventory to ensure departmental profitability.
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and adherence to all club and health standards.
  • Resolve member and guest feedback professionally and promptly.

Qualifications

  • 35 years of progressive experience in food & beverage or hospitality management; private club or resort background preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems (CJonas experience a plus).
  • ServSafe or FL SafeStaff certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
