Job description

Overview

This is a temporary AV Technician role for a Chicago-area client, with a 30-day contract and potential to extend to cover someone on leave. Start date : 9 / 29 / 2025. Work hours are onsite 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, with hours adjusted on event days. Duration : 9 / 29 / 2025 – 10 / 28 / 2025; must have no commitments during this period. Pay range : $18.00 / hr – $23.00 / hr. This position involves providing AV support for client events and coordinating with the team as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Run scoping calls with the team for upcoming events
  • Perform a dry run the day prior to events
  • Execute on the event day, onsite every day with hours adjusted based on event timing

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working as an AV Technician
  • Experience working with specialized event spaces
  • Experience working with video walls (Planar, Christie, Barco, Samsung, Daktronics)
  • Experience with Audio Engineering White Glove Service : demonstrated ability to provide high-level support to director-level executives and above in a corporate setting, ensuring smooth and professional AV experiences
