Responsibilities Work within the Staffing Resource Team (SRT) floating to all Med / Surg units as needed Float coverage includes Med / Surg units (1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West), Emergency Department (ED), and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) May provide Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage when needed Expected to work with complex medical, surgical, and post-op patient populations Assigned to a day / night rotating schedule with 36 hours per week Responsibilities include caring for a range of patient needs across multiple Med / Surg and critical units May work along ED and PACU borders and serve as Deceased Patient Coordinator as needed Team environment with support across units Position may require flexibility to adapt to varying unit protocols and workflows Requirements Active NH RN license or Compact RN license with proof of state residency Current BLS certification required At least 2 years of recent equivalent Med / Surg RN experience Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years Prior float RN experience highly preferred Proficiency with chest tubes, trachs / laryngectomies, complex wounds, central lines, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), and telemetry Experience with lines, tubes, drains for post-surgical patients No local candidates may apply; must live at least 75 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641678.
