We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Senior Cost Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, hybrid position in the exciting field of engineering. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing all cost accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities :

As a Senior Cost Accounting Manager, your main responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing all cost accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing cost reports and identifying discrepancies.

2. Coordinating with various departments to compile and interpret important financial data.

3. Implementing and maintaining cost accounting systems to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Assisting in the development and implementation of cost-saving measures and strategies.

5. Collaborating with the finance department to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.

6. Conducting audits and recommending any necessary actions based on findings.

7. Training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

8. Providing strategic guidance on all cost accounting matters to senior management.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the role of Senior Cost Accounting Manager, candidates must have :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.

2. Strong ERP system experience is mandatory, with experience in Oracle being highly desirable.

3. Proficiency in IBM COGNOS TM1 is preferred.

4. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.

5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

8. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

9. The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
