Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, with indirect supervision and daily instruction from an assigned Project Manager, this position coordinates all technical activities on assigned projects. The role ensures effective communication and coordination between all disciplines, project team members, external customers, and vendors. You will work on exciting, multi‑million dollar commercial MEP projects while developing skills in estimating, scheduling, and design within the design‑build construction process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with managing internal department relationships (e.g., accounting, purchasing, engineering, construction, fabrication shops, legal).
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department on scope, price, submittals, and delivery for purchased items; coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
• Manage job progress onsite as required, leveraging design expertise in a hands‑on capacity to solve emergent operational and installation challenges.
• Oversee and / or process daily administrative items (e.g., Document Control, RFIs, Dailies, POs, MOPs, submittals, procurement logs) per Project Manager’s direction.
• Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure the project progresses on schedule and on budget; plan work, track labor, track material and deliveries, and project cost at completion.
• Escalate potential problems and assist the Project Manager in driving solutions to complete resolution.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers, prime contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade personnel by attending job kick‑off, progress, foreman, and OAC meetings; interfacing with installers, suppliers, and subcontractors to provide information, direction, and detailed instructions; managing subcontractors to meet project expectations.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and / or upper management.

Hours & Employment

This is a non‑exempt, full‑time position scheduled from Monday through Friday with typical work hours beginning and ending between 6 : 00 am and 5 : 00 pm as scheduled with the supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel

As required, travel from the assigned office to regional branch offices and / or project / customer sites.

Competitive Wages

$36.34 to $51.91 per hour. Compensation is determined by factors such as skills, experience, certifications, education, and work location.
