EHS Manager

Were working with a leading dairy processing company in California thats seeking an EHS Manager. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to oversee critical safety functions, training, auditing and continuous improvement. As a key member of the leadership team, you will motivate and lead a team of associates, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow continuity. This role will involve ensuring a safe environment for all employees, contractors and visitors while upholding safety protocols. This is an essential position for someone ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Actively lead and implement foundational safety systems, including LOTO, machine guarding, permit required confined spaces, fall protection and other critical safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and food safety standards (e.g., SQF, HACCP, GMP).
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and support training initiatives.
• Implement CAPEX plan for safety improvement
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and materials management teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety, GMPs and SOPs.
• Enforce proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
