Seasonal - Skate Shop Supervisor; Los Angeles

The Skate Shop Supervisor is responsible for guiding the Skate Shop team and ensuring seamless operations for both the Skate Shop and Ice Skating Trail / Rink, while maintaining safe equipment, strong service standards, and open communication with the Manager on Duty. This role supports guests of all abilities, oversees daily operations, upholds safety protocols, and helps create a festive, welcoming atmosphere for everyone.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and inspire the Skate Shop team, ensuring smooth operations for both the Skate Shop and Ice Skating Trail while providing regular updates to the Manager on DutyOversee skate issuance and returns, maintaining equipment in excellent, safe condition for guestsAssist all guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of abilityAttend pre-shift meetings to stay informed about special events and guest groupsUphold high standards in your area to deliver a quality experience for all guestsHandle guest interactions professionally, resolve issues, and report incidents to the Manager on DutyCommunicate effectively using radio systems and follow best practices for clear communicationPartner with the Manager on Duty to complete a thorough nightly reportMaintain uniform and credentials at all times to support team safety and securityFoster a warm, festive atmosphere that enhances the holiday experienceQualificationsProven ability to manage teams of 15+ in fast-paced environmentsSkilled at handling high guest volumes with a friendly, efficient approachComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to ice skate and assist non-skaters to enhance the experienceBring innovative ideas to improve guest experience and drive valueCapable of standing for long periods and lifting / pushing up to 40 lbsDetail-oriented, self-directed, and able to manage multiple tasks with precisionStrong collaborator, experienced in working with diverse leaders to achieve goalsPassionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiencesAdaptable, resourceful, and effective in problem-solvingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.Must be able to lift 50lbs.
