Telemetry RN Job Details – Asheville, NC Location : Asheville, NC (28801) Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry (D2, 2nd Floor) Job Type : Locum tenens, travel nursing contract Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 23 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Scrub Color : Navy and / or white top, navy bottom, or all white Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840 Telemetry RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent progressive care and telemetry nursing experience Telemetry competency and clinical skills Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and step-down patients in a fast-paced, inpatient overflow unit Monitor and manage telemetry equipment; ensure all patients are hardwired to bedside monitors as indicated Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, CNAs, and other RNs Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 5 / 1 : 6, adapting to varying levels of care Provide compassionate, patient-focused care with a positive attitude Participate in quick patient turnover and manage short-stay (24-hour LOS) cases Float to other units within the facility as required Experience rewarding travel nursing jobs in Asheville, NC, and join a leading healthcare team in Asheville, NC.
