FLSA Status : Full-Time, Salary (Exempt)
Position Overview :
The Training & Development Coordinator is responsible for leading onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for Behavior Interventionists (BIs) and Paraprofessionals (Paras) across all company programs, including school, clinic, and home settings. This role ensures new hires are effectively trained in ABA practices, company policies, and behavior management strategies, while also providing in-the-moment coaching and support to staff in the field.
The Training & Development Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and consistency of services, supporting staff growth, and fostering a positive and professional learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead onboarding and training for all new Behavior Interventionists and Paraprofessionals.
- Deliver company-wide training sessions, workshops, and refreshers; present comfortably in front of groups.
- Travel across all sites (school, clinic, and home programs) to provide staff support, modeling, and training.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to staff in classrooms, therapy sessions, and community settings.
- Ensure staff are trained and competent in company policies, CPI procedures, ABA methodologies, and behavior support strategies.
- Monitor staff skill development and collaborate with supervisors to recommend ongoing training opportunities.
- Support supervisors and site directors in identifying training needs and implementing staff development plans.
- Maintain training records and ensure all required staff certifications are up to date.
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve training materials, staff resources, and professional development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of positivity, professionalism, and continuous learning among staff.
Qualifications : Required :
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.Minimum of 1 year of experience working in ABA.Experience working with a variety of age groups and ability levels.Ability to provide in-the-moment feedback in a supportive and professional manner.Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.Comfortable speaking and presenting to groups.Ability and willingness to travel to all sites, including home sessions as needed.Full-time schedule : Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.Highly Preferred :
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.Experience in school, clinic, and home ABA settings.Work Environment & Physical Requirements :
Work will take place across schools, clinics, and in-home settings.Requires frequent travel between sites.Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.Will work directly with students and clients with a range of behavioral and developmental needs.Work Environment & Physical Requirements :
Ability to work in a school environment serving students with a wide range of needs, including mild to extensive support needs.Physical demands may include standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and actively supporting students in crisis situations.Work will take place across schools, clinics, and in-home settings.Requires frequent travel between sites.Benefits :
